Swim Fit

Morning sessions focused on helping improve swimmers' stroke efficiency and stamina.

What will I learn in this class?
Through instructor guidance, swimmers learn how to swim more efficiently while building their endurance and overall conditioning.

What are the benefits of this class?
Since swimming uses muscles you don’t normally engage and is easy on the joints, this class is a great alternative to high-impact activities.

Who will teach this class?
Miguel Ortiz-Cañavate represented Spain at the 2016 Rio Olympics and won the NCAA Division I title with the University of Michigan in 2013. He discussed his swim career in the May 2022 issue of INTOUCH magazine. Miguel is joined by his brother, Bruno Ortiz-Cañavate, who also represented Spain at the Rio Games and was part of the Division I-winning team at the University of Michigan in 2013.
