Inspiring Young Minds in Fukushima

Discover a weekend of community, education and culture in Fukushima as an English-language ambassador.

Take part in two engaging days of interactive English sessions with schoolchildren and locals in Tohoku.

This program, part of a longstanding partnership with Fukushima City and its board of education, includes visits to a junior high school on the first day and a community center on the second day to meet children and parents.

Since the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, the Club has built a strong relationship with communities in Fukushima through initiatives like homestays and school visits, organized as part of the Fukushima Kids Program.

Participants will stay overnight at Sansuiso, a traditional ryokan inn in the famous hot-spring resort of Tsuchiyu Onsen.

This weekend promises enriching intercultural exchange in one of Japan’s most charming regions.
